easiest and best answer is the one given a couple times allready.
walk up to him and say and i quote. " hello" unquote.
it really is that simple. no games just 2 people engaging in a conversation.
start it their then tell him how you feel and that you would like to explore the possibilites with him. and let the chips fall where they may from their. dont be discouraged by his friends being their or anything like that just walk right up and ask.
hes prolly just a normal guy like everyone else.......unless hes actually a denubian slime beatle under his skin then you might have an issue =>_o= lol.
but seriously all kidding aside go right up and speak to him. then at least you have made the effort. if he says no then at least you know and have no regrets. if he says yes well.........

Dont keep thinking like, "doing this how can i attract him?". It will not show your originality. Be in your natural way. Just get to know him better. Sure there will be some intersection points try to impress him in those areas, which will be definitely easier for you too and it will also not deviate from your character. If you want to impress him somehow act too smart and show it in each and every action of yours.

Run into him, while carrying a bunch of stuff.
Pretend that you accidently dropped everything.
Say, "OH! I'm sorry!" He'll say "That's OK. Then start up a conversation.
Boy. That one is as old as time itself but it still works EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Use eye liner to draw really long lines around each eye. Colour your hair blue and wear black lipstick and nail polish. Act really spinny.

you should act normal and say hi to him. dont try to make him notice you so much that everyone will notice and think your pathetic. maybe he likes you too but doesent know how to tell you.

be confident and flirtatious. don't get cocky, but tell yourself that you are the best thing for him blablabla. If he rejects you somehow, his loss not yours. Know that;)
