Yes. Theft of services as others have suggested, probably. But you are also arguably trespassing, as you have no legal right to be present in the theater (a privately owned property) unless you have purchased a license (ticket) to be there for the duration of the movie.

Sneaking into a movie is against the law in every state. It is called theft of services. It also applies to things like hooking up to someone elses cable service.

Not specifically but would or could fall under theft of services but I doubt anyone has ever been convicted of sneaking into a movie.

It is illegal in ALL States!

"Theft of Services" is what the charge will be. Most of the time it is a misdemeanor. and will get a ticket.

Yes it is, if someone sees you do it and turns you in. But in the real world yes it is, its steeling.
