Babe Ruth
Ted Williams
Barry Bonds
Ty Cobb
Willie Mays

In ten years I'd probably add A-Rod to the list.
In twenty years Pujols might be on it.

No chance on Griffey making this list or even getting close. Now if he hadn't lost parts of several seasons to injury, then he might have made this list.

Griffey would be top 10 but not top 5.

1. Ruth (the guy would have been a HOF'er even if he stayed a pitcher)
2. Williams (Carreer OB% of .482 and missed 3 years to fight in the war!)
3. Mays
4. Aaron
5. Gehrig
6. Rickey Henderson (the guy scored more runs than anybody and had to work for most of them).

Aside from Griffey Jr. some current players who may make the list: Todd Helton, Frank Thomas, Albert Pujols

Short stop: Ozzie Smith, 3rd base: Brooks Robinson, 1st base: Steve Garvey, Center Field: Tie between Andrew Jones, Jim edmonds, and Griffey Jr., and I am going to mention Greg Maddox as a pitcher for 2 reasons. 1st, he is a great pitcher, 2nd, because he catches almost everything that is hit back to him. He has been phenomenal for years.
