The Earth is made up of four layers (in order from center: inner core, outer core, mantle, and crust). The inner core is solid metal made up of nickle and iron. The outer core is liquid nickle and iron. The mantle is made up of dense rocks. The crust is the Earth's hard outer shell, we are on the crust. The crust is the thins of the layers.
