Why do Nissan Sentra 1995 consume so much oil?

My car's oil has to be added almost every week or week and a half. It only has 100,000 miles and I do not travel far. Only from home to work which is less than 10 minutes away. Could it be that there's something wrong with the make of the car?...please help.

The rings or valve seals are prob bad.

Check for oil puddles under your car where ever you park.
