How does benyzol peroxide make your skin sensitive to sun?

What kind of sensitivity does it cause? Does it give you more pimples, or just more chance of getting burned?

Benzoyl peroxide is an astringent that removes oil from your skin. This removes some of the defenses your skin has against the sun.

It dryed out my skin so i guess being in the sun dryes it out more but it cleared my acne.
