Partly sunny, 55-60 degrees, good stiff breeze, a definite bite of autumn in the air. If I could find that year round, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I couldn't agree more with pegminer. People tend to take notice far more when something goes wrong than when it goes right. This seems to be true for a great many people. Without forecasts going out, many, many more people would be killed from disasters such as hurricanes, flooding and tornadoes. Meteorologists give the public time to prepare when there appears to be dangerous weather on the horizon. When a forecast is made any more than four-five days out, the accuracy of it drastically decreases because forecasts are widely based on previous weather conditions and where these weather conditions are expected to progress. Simply because the weather forecast called for showers those days, it did not mean that you will definitely, 100% be seeing showers any of those days. All it meant was that conditions looked favorable for showers to develop in or near your area. I am quite sure that areas near you did get showers although you did not.

a perfect day is 72 degrees with a 8 knot wind with slight overcast to not make it to hot or humid. the evening would be 68 degrees with a 10 knot wind with the stars out on a moonlit night. also a afternoon shower with a 15 knot breeze makes it perfect for napping on the front porch in a hammock.

70 degrees, overcast with thundertorms starting at about 2pm and lasting til about 7pm. In the morning, it shouldn't get much above 70 or 75, and clear skies are cool with me. But afternoon is designed for big fat thunderboomers, a good book, a nice chard (or pinot noir) and open windows. Ahhhhhh.
