You can not sue the state. You may sue a department of that state if grievous hard was done by that department. A cop kills a man just because of his color.

Get a lawyer!! And a good one.

It better be for millions and most states limit the amount you can sue them for!!

I testified as an expert witness in Belamy vs Hrs in Florida. I testified against the state. It was a shaken Baby case where HRS screwed up big time. They even closed a case as founded without even seeing the kid! Not only did Broward County Hospital and it's doctors pay, the state refused to settle. They lost $12,000.000.00!!

You get an attorney to file the suit in court just like you would sue a person.

Already stated, but most government entities are immune to prosecution. Consult with a lawyer on the feasibility of you case getting a favorable judgment.

You get a lawyer. States are imune from suit in almost all cases. You certainly need a lawyer to argue why your case has merit.
