You may write about your first day of school which is usually a bit of an adventure for most kids.

What makes writing fun is taking your common daily experiences and getting every bit of flavor out of them. Kind of like chewing gum. A good writer can make eating a hamburger an insurmountable obstacle by the words he chooses. If the hamburger, consisting of a leathery meat-like disk, dipped in grease and slathered with a toxic sludge commonly known as mayonaise is viciously clamped between two crusty and mouldy substances, once known as bread, then it is suddenly an adventure. Have fun!

Maybe u should try to seek for a great adventure right know, that way you'll have something to write about
Think about the things you've never done and then do it.
Crazy stuff but not that crazy. Dont do anything stupid like jumping from bridge allright.

Just think of something that happened in your life and describe it in a dramatic way.
For example, when you got your first bike - at that age thats the best thing ever. Or describe the first time you set foot on the school playground, its a jungle out there.
Something special can be anything. Everyones 'first' at anything is a special adventure.

Switte---I see that you are a cheerleader ?? And you don't think that is special or an adventure to be discussed ?? I know alot of young girls that would think that this alone would be enough to supply them with stuff to talk about from now on----Tell about what it was like in the try outs the way it felt waiting to see if you were going to make it--then the thrill when you first learned that you had made it-----sounds like the stuff of movies to me !!!!

hmm. don't fake it, but exaggerate a little... You will just have to use some big words to describe . For example, a trip to a beach.
You should say a trip to a beach which filled with sun hungry people. Get more feeling on that scenery instead of actual event. Your writing will be as good as real event!!

I would say either find a great adventure and write about it. Or journal trying to find a great adventure specifically for the report.

Seriously, nothing extremely good or bad has ever happened to you?

If the work is required, you should do it, dear. But make it real. How about this: your greatest adventure may have been being born? With all respect, how about the first kiss, if that has happened yet?

There has to be something great that has happened to you. Like a first love, a good time with your best friend, listening to the CD of your favorite band for the first time, etc.

In story telling, you have to be honest and true especially to yourself. It is quite touching and people will appreciate whatever is true and real. On the other hand, isn't it a great feeling being always true in anything we say or do?
