Yeah, the Navy has listening stations where they listen to radio signals, and im sure some nature/science people have lived there

It would be hard to live at the North Pole because the ice is constantly moving. If you really wanted to stay right on the pole, you'd have to move your house as the ice shifted. Unless you're Santa.
