I forgot Spanish and learned English. i dont even have a mexican accent. up in the states i got made fun of in Minnesota becuase my mexican ethnesity. When i moved down to mexico, they called me gringo and hated me even more than the People in Minnesota. they think i think im better than them. but i dont. it seems like i cant fit in anywhere. the thing is, not trying to be rasist but im tall compared to other people around me down here. i get stared at evertime i go somewhere. sometimes its becuase a girl might like me but its still annoying.being half and half kinda bothers me and i was wondering if anybody had the same issues.

I'm sorry, stud. Sounds like you're having a pretty tough time. Well, the only thing I can really suggest is having a chat with your parents. Perhaps you can stay with a relative in the States, or in another country, for a short while?

But the only other thing you can really do is just try to tough it out and try not to sweat the small stuff. Remember, kids can be really mean, but a few of them manage to grow out of it.

Grow a pair man, oh I mean kid, nobody is going to really care about your personal feelings in the real world. Im from Minnesota and over have the **** we say is to be taken with a grain of salt. We have Indians at our school and on our sports teams. We get into racial slurs with them and then they some back at us,they laugh and we laugh, not like were gonna hate eachother cause of what nationality the other is and its not like we really care, its just they're there, we're there and we got the time. Dont take things so seriously, your to young to understand about this stuff anyway, maturity and everything, bad question from a kid your age

This is going to sound like after school special bs, but one thing I've learned is that everyone gets made fun of at one time or another. Racial taunts suck because you can't change your skin and you shouldn't want to. Kids don't like differences that are obvious, because when one person stands out, it makes everyone else look that much more plain. Be proud of your color. Be proud of your heritage. Most of all, be proud that you are more than the sum of those things- you are the product of your experiences, your talents and your potential.

I got picked on a lot, as a white kid in a white school. It happens. If you like the girl, talk to her. Good luck, man.

Sort of. My wife is cuban. I am british. BOTH sides of our families cannot stand the other side, or either of us. Our son is adopted Columbian. Darker skin than both of us.

In time, you will learn to grow thick skin. Comments will not bother you as much. AND you will find someone to spend the rest of your life with. Together the two of you will create a new life, get new friends, and too bad for everyone else who made your life miserable!

We did, and we are still together after 35 years.

I can totally relate dude, I am indian and hispanic. I now live in Delaware and I haven't really found my niche yet. People in some stores will talk to me in spanish and I can't even speak the language. Someone asked me if I was Brazilian. Geez..it's like...does it even matter? We are all human beings. We are all designers originals, fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

most people are mixed anyway...why let other people bother you?? It's their problems not yours....you can't change who you are and neither can they....just be proud of who you are and the hell with the rest of them!! People are always judging...too tall, short, fat, skinny, fair , dark....whatever....who's got the time to keep track?
