Because most people are too busy picking their own nose to take time out to pick someone else's. No one can get that booger the way you can on your own. It's kind of like having someone poop for you. It just doesn't work.

Most people I know who pick their noses, either their own or someone else`s, frequently belong to some labor union or other. When you belong to a union and you go out on strike, it gives you all the more reason to picket...

I once picked a dry booger out of my friends nose when he was passed out drunk. I would have left it there, but it kept catching my eye and was driving me nuts. I resisted all temptation to then place it in his mouth. That's why I'm his friend.

It is against the law in every state except Alaska! There you can rub your nose, pick it , chew it, suck it they just don't care.

it saves you from having to explain yourself. When your friend then asks you to eat his s___, and you won't, your friend will be offended that you think he is disguisting and won't eat his boogers. So if you don't pick his nose, you don't have to say no when he asks you to eat it
