okay, I'm on my period and I was messing around with my boyfriend (he knows I'm on my period), but he was fingering me and my tampon slipped too far inside me and now I can't get it out. Should I go to the hospital? or will it come out on its own if I just relax? Sorry for the gross topic...but I'm pretty freaked out.

It probably will not come out on its own. If you are uncomfortable going to the hospital, see an ob/gyn. There's only so far it can go up, but its unhygenic.

I'm a bit confused as to how your bf was fingering you if you had a tampon in...But anyway...Try to relax and maybe have your bf search around for you while you are laying flat on your back. I once "lost" a condom up there...it came out after about 15 mins. If you can't get it within an hour, I might call the er.
Good luck!

It probably wont come out on its own but if you relax your boyfriend may be able to have a look for it. If it takes more than an hour i would suggest going to the hospital because it can cause infection.

A friend of mine "lost" a tampon and didn't realize it until she got this terrible odor 'down there'. If you can't find it, and you're positive it was there to begin with, then call your doc.

I can't imagine why a guy would want to finger someone with a tampon in.....

he was fingering you to put it in, he can do the same to get it out, since he made this problem for you. you may be embarressed to tell him, but i wouldn't think anymore so than you were when he fingered you with a tampon in! if he's not around, you can do it yourself. don't worry, and the more you stress, the harder it will be. put some lubrication on your finger if you need.

If you cannot take it out on your own, go to the hospital. It will take them 2 seconds to remove it. It actually happened to someone I know. It's actually not that uncommon.
