My puppy thought she was Jackie Joyner again today and took a mad dash and jumped on the chair..well she was aiming for the chair. She missed and landed in candle wax from a candle warmer. BRIGHT RED candle wax! She is not hurt but she is left with the emotional scar of embarrassment and the fact that she has been caught RED PAWED! Soooo....my question "how the heck am I suppose to get it off?" No, wise guy comments about using a IRON this is serious! She looks crazy! Please help!

Ok, obvious iron answer aside (p.s. works GREAT on non-live things) Head to Bed Bath & Beyond and get yourself some candle wax remover.

Break up as much of it as you can to get the big chunks out, then I'd start with baby oil or mineral oil. Rub it into the fur and let it soak in....then use a comb to comb it out. Make sure you wash his fur out with baby soap and water after to get the oil out or he'll lick it out....probably not good for your puppy!

Cut it out.The fur will grow back.Do not use chemicals. His skin may be too sensitive.
