Actually I have had two very good experiences with the Hells Angels. About 30 years ago, while my family was on vacation in Nevada, our car broke down. For a long time no cars came by, but then a group of Hell's Angels came by and my dad tried to get their attention to see if they would call a tow truck from the nearest town. They noticed my parents had young kids and needed help. Several drove on and came back with food and drinks, while several others helped my father fix the car. They were very nice and polite and actually escorted us to our destination in order to make sure we got there safely. They refused any money from my parents. They did say they loved my mother's Irish accent. I was just a child and so excited by their Hogs.

My second encounter with the Hell's Angels occured about 4 years ago while driving up to Northern California. There was a detour and I got lost. Remembering my experience with them from a child, but cautious as I was a lone female, I approached a female member of the group at a Gas Station and asked directions to get back to the main road. She was very nice and asked one of the guys to help me out. He asked for paper and wrote out great directions. I told them of my past experience with their group and they were delighted to say the least. We said goodbye and I was on my way and found the main road very easily as per his directions.

Both experience were great.
