I saw a TV prog where they said that WWW was 666 in hebrew (could have been another language - sorry if I got it wrong) but basically they were saying that the Web is kinda undera 'devil spell'.....any comments??

It's called a coincidence, nothing else.

Check this out..

Y is the 25 letter of the alphabet, A id the 1st, H is the 8th, and O is the 15th (two O's of course)

25+1+8+15+15=64

6 x 4 = 24

2+4=6

6 repeated three times (three being the number of math problems there were) is 666! OMG Yahoo is evil!

Numbers are sooo mutable you can make them equal almost anything you wanted

makes sense the Internet will one day make or break us, but i wouldn't like a world with out it, its the last place for free speech, unless it zaps us all, it must be interpreted as not what the Internet and www will do but what people can use it to do like brainwashing! LOL
but nothing happen on the 060606 and i was very disappointed i believe it less now but maybe the devil was born on that day did you hear about the couple that named there kid Damian think of the Psychological issues he will have!

666 is a misprint in the bible. The dead sea scrolls (the very first bible) state this. There is no connection with the internet and the great beast.
The dead sea scrolls also show other mistakes in our modern bible, for example, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into heaven". The dead sea scrolls show that the word 'camel' should actually be 'rope'. Makes more sense doesn't it.
The dead sea scrolls are locked in a vault and the vatican stops people from seeing them. I wonder why? How many other mistakes could there be in our modern bible?

In a word: Preposterous! Notwithstanding that the quote is taken out of context (what else is new?)! Look at it this way: When the time to worry about 666 and what it might mean, we'll probably figure out what's happening!

I think you should get off the Internet immediately and start praying for deliverance from the evil web-devil.

(sorry, but this question is so silly I had to "answer" it.)

Oh how hard we look for the devil. We should look so hard for God.
