How are we suppose to die for a word. What is everyone talking about. I fought in korea so we didn't have to die for anything anymore

the whole problem comes down to definition,
I define peace as one thing, but it is a totally different thing to someone else.
If i was to die for unity, .like global unity.. then one day everyone might be controlled by an overlord.. and that could be called unity.. i dont want to die for that.
Words are so subjective, I dont think i would die for one..
maybe for an idea tho.
