what's a looser?
Anyway, no it wasn't fair, but since the match is 90 minutes long it was up to us to take make the ref's mistake irrelevant. A team who only scores one goal in their first three matches shouldn't expect to advance, I'd never deny that. That doesn't make a bad call good.
And sorry king of the world but we really don't need your permission to play soccer so I think we'll probably continue to do so. We made it to the quarterfinals last time, and we'll see what 2010 brings.

I hope you are not British, because you are really murdering the Queens English.
First, "whose" is a word but not the way you used it. You meant "who's".
Second "wit" is also a word but not the way you used it. Wit is something you lack.
Third, "loosers" is spelled with only one "o". Spell check would have caught this but you are too stupid to use it.
Fourth, you shouldn't start something with "First of all" if you are only giving one reason.
Fifth, you had some other grammatical errors in there also- capital letters where they shouldn't be, and the whole sentence was a run-on.
Sixth, yes the call was fair, yet still a bad call.
Last, you left out that we're also good at bombing you.

Well...I don't think it was a correct call...but I'm more concerned about your other inaccuracies...the World Baseball Classic was won by Japan (we didn't even make it to the semifinals). The last basketball tournament in the Olympics was won by Argentina (we placed third). Nobody else plays football, so I guess by default we are the best. However, you are right that they are not going the replay the match, so we must accept it, but it still doesn't change the fact that it was a bad call.

The call sucked. End of story. And to whoever said they needed a win not a draw, that goal changed EVERYTHING. It was right before halftime too and all Ghana had to do was position their players where they wanted to and keep possesion. That's why it was so hard for US to break through and score even though they did have alot of good breaks. And oh yeah, that call sucked.

I am with you it was fair gotta see the match though hope Sportsnet will replay it. Ok saw it and it was iffy. Even if you take away the goal and have a tie it wouldn't matter Ghana advances with four or six points to play Brazil.

the call was completely bogus and like the game with italy bad calls take the wind out of your sails, playing a soccer game down by a goal versus tied is a very big deal and for the ****** who said suck it up and go play what we're good at, well at least we're good at 2-3 other sports can brazil or italy say that f*ck no

I didn't think it was fair. The ref should have just let them play on. I think the US got screwed by the refs at this World Cup, esp the game against Italy.

I don't think it was a good call, but i believe with the way the US played today, it didn't matter. They didn't have the will to score another goal.

USA has not played as well as they used to and in any case, if Ghana and USA had drawn the match, Ghana would still have qualified
