Yes. He says it takes 3 licks to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop.

The temperature of your mouth, how much saliva you give off each lick, and the length of your toung, and how much area of the sucker you lick per lick, AND if you lick the same spot every time or not, are all factors of how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. For Mr. Owl, it takes 245 licks, and 142 tries (he kept on eating the tootsie pops).

it takes 113 licks to the center...it took a very long time but it also depends on the temperature of your mouth...

I'm pretty sure he does, but I did it, and if you go really fast, it takes 1, 743 licks. Going slower, about 704 and if you swirl it in your mouth, it takes 697 turns.... but this is just for me. For some, it may be more, others less.
