I hear that she is quite a genuine person. Have a great time at the party. Probably you'll meet some really interesting people. Her daughter writes books too.
I just saw this in a book review: "Now in her 70s, Mary Higgins Clark is still the Queen of Suspense." Her books are really suspenseful and I look forward to the new ones.

I love Mary Higgins Clark! How wonderful for you! When I went to visit my boyfriends grandmother all she had to read was some Readers Digest books. This will be so much better!
Try to get some advice on how a writer gets started and what to do about writers block! But also ask about the grandchildren or great grandchildren!
