When you say it looks burned do you mean it was brown looking black. chock white. silver or what? If you have a plug that looks black that is a sing of to much fuel or oil. If its brown that is normal. If its chock white that is antifreeze or water. If it looks silver then you have a bad head because a lot of antifreeze it getting in there but you diden say it was running ruff so i dont know what to tell you

Check that they were gapped properly.
If so, consider replacing with hotter, platinum plugs.

check your catalic converter,if its almost clogged it will make your plugs black and it will run rich.
