For me it's an easy answer. I spent 3 days at Woodstock, slogging through mud, and trash, over bodies, and got close enough to the stage to see and hear Country Joe and the Fish, as well as others.

I could never have done that on the moon, even if I'd been able to get there.

Which had the most general and global impact??? It depends on who you ask. The guys who walked on the moon may have missed a great, memorable, concert experience? I didn't, nor did I miss not making footprints in the moon dust.

woodstock, had the greatest SOCIAL impact where as the moon landing was more POLITICAL/SCIENTIFIC.
