Heaven forbid if a rat dies...and someday someone you love is cured of cancer because of it....but human babies? Throw them in the trash....And don't tell me that I would be responsible for the children if abortion was outlawed.....the people who have the children are responsible for them...I support enough liberals on welfare as it is.

I'm very liberal - and I happen to NOT support PETA. I feel that their scare tactics and such go WAY overboard to prove their point. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just don't shove it down my throat, ya know?

Humans are on the top of the food chain. This is a natural occurance. This is they way a smart, normal person would see it. Liberals are all about screwing up smart, normal, natural things. Peta is full of liberals, messing with the way things work naturally. If you want to be a vegitariin, that's fine. But a vegitarian liberal takes it too far, as liberals do. They do not respect other people and try to change their views, instead of respecting them. Animals were put on this earth to be a part of the circle of life. That circle includes medicine, food, all of it. Peta takes it too far, Leberals take it too far.
Similar? Heck ya.

Liberals are driven by emotions, and conservatives are driven by reason. Liberals want the fast "feel good now" answers that don't think about future consequences. Conservatives think about the future and responsibility when they decide what side to take.
If an animal is killed - that's so sad for the animal, thinks the liberal - we shouldn't kill them because they are so cute! The conservative says "well, it's bad for the animal, but the animal was sacraficed for research so human lives could be saved in the future."
The liberal says "well it's OK you're pregnant, sex is all about feeling good - you don't need to worry about the consequences." The conservative thinks "the baby didn't do anything wrong, and doesn't deserve to be denied life or liberty - it should be born, and the parents should be responsible."

In all honesty, I'm no PETA member, but I am a liberal. I agree with helping the poor, not forcing a child onto a victim of rape, who is a child themselves, and I know it was Osama bin Laden who attacked us, not Iraq. Plus I recognize that Africa and the poor DO indeed exist. All the while eating a piping hot bacon cheeseburger any day of the week.

Oh come on- that was rife with stereotyping...not all people who believe in animal rights support abortion, nor are they on welfare.I don't consider myself an anything-goes Liberal, but I am a big animal rights person. They are vulnerable and DO need to be protected. I do not believe that people are superior to animals, as we are a species of animal ourselves. Do you have pets? I don't understand how anyone who has had a beloved pet could be against animal rights.

Then you must be pro choice, right?
You don'r have a clue who is on welfare.
Most are kids, who can't vote, the elderly, who many are conservative, and the totally disabled!!
If you are going to slam someone at least know what you are talking about!

humans are viruses. Animals are loving as long as you don't poke them at the wrong place. Humans are cursed with sins upon sins. We jump around and destroy everything. People love pets b/c they are needy and clingy. They can't deal with reality people are loving and hating, it's what we call living.

" The Animals' Savior "
I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...
the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope,
fear and dread, sadness and betrayal.
And I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment and then He spoke softly.
"I have done something," He replied.
"I created you.
