YOU CAN GET A CHEAP ACOUSTIC AT WALMART OR MAYBE A GOOD USED ONE AT A PAWN SHOP OR MUSIC STORE. BY ALL MEANS GET A TEACHER IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT!

The fastest way to learn guitar is to pay a tutor to teach you. But the best way to play is to just buy a guitar and play along to other songs from a CD Player - either copy the melody or add your own to the song. Most good guitarists never took any guitar lessons, you just gotta keep playing when you can and you'll learn as you go along. Acoustic guitars are harder to play than an electric but in my opinion acoustic guitars sounds way better than an electric. Good luck anyway ;)

you can get a fairly cheap acoustic made by a company called first act---around 50 bucks--they play pretty good--and are fairly common--sound good too---a teacher will probably cost ya about 15 to 20 bucks an hour--at first go twice a week if you can---after you start getting better at it--you can slow it down to once a week---but practice practice practice---even if you get bored with it---it will take years to get decent at it--keep at it --you will be glad you did---you will have the ablility for the rest of your life---its tough and frustrating at first though--so be prepared for some disapointments and a lot of hard work!!!--ya ain,t gonna be a rock star overnight---lots o luck---have fun

Go to costco an average yamaha cost around $100, as for one on one teachers that will be expensive, unless you can find a good friend to teach you for free, and that depend on where you are located too. Message me for more info.

a regualr guitar would cost i would say about 200 for a alight guitar depending on the one you want. dont buy a big expenisve one untill you learn how to play.

and for a music teacher would say over 100 dollars a day.

You might want to check out some reviews of guitar lessons on Review Place. Jamorama has a good reputation.

musiciansfriend.com has great deals on all guitars, and mxtabs.net has tons of easy-to-read tabs.

Oh and I don't know about lessons, I just taught myself how to play.

Oh and acoustic guitars are, in my opinion, harder to play because the strings are tighter and hurts your fingers....electrics are easier.
