Because you let us men get away with it. We were spoiled by our moms, and now you spoil us. Want us to do something? Then let us do it ourselves and don't nag us. It'll get done.

I really don't think that is true. Woman by scientific research are more demanding from their lovers than men are with women....however, it's not to say that this doesn't occur. Men that think women should do everything for them are usually pathetic or with a weak-will woman who will not stand up for herself and do what's right. Men aren't as bad as you think.....you've just gotta find the right one. Currently I'm on the exact opposite of that question and I have a hard time answering it...maybe you can help me?

not all men are like that, but the ones who are, think women should do everything for them because they've lived in a male-dominated world all their lives, and are self-centered. the countries they must live in, view women as 2nd class which is wrong because everything should be 50/50 between men AND women.

Because dear ol Mom always did. But I'm an exception because I had to have respect for people, manners and was held responsible for my actions. I thank God everyday for her and no woman I was ever involved with could ever hold a candle to her. She also taught me to be a loving and giving person and I still am today. I think a lot of guys love nurturing and a lot of women are natural at nurturing. If you can't do thing for the one you love who can you do it for?

Sometimes it's how they're raised. Unfortunately, there are still men who believe women should be submissive, but are surprised to find we're strong and independent. We bear the children, darn it! Some guys need to get a clue.

No, I don't think that is all men. Some men are lazy, so they don't want to do anything in the relationship. Others place more emphasise in making their partners happy. So it really depends on the person.

I am a man and I don't think women should do everything for me.But I do think that (Hold that thought I'm going to get my wife).
My husband stepped out for a minute to get a 12 pack, He told me to finish this for him. He definitely doesn't believe that women should do everything for him, Did I go get his 12 pack! Smile honey there enough of us good guys to go around!

If you have a man that thinks and behaves in this manner then you have enabled the beast! Men are creatures of habit and if you repeatedly handmaid over him then he will learn to expect it! Once you start it is a hard cycle to break!

Men are just men....like small children, some are well behaved and don't embarrass you in public and really do put the toilet seat down....then there are the rest, that women talk about, country songs are written about.....etc.
