The island is fake his fake and he says the only way is to die in the fake world so he will wake up from his coma. But is this true??? I don't know so I'll leave it up to you guys to answer this one for me. And also is everything fake like he said???

Fake-No don't think so but love the show because of the suspense of really not knowing. Since shows like this develop as it goes along don't spend a lot of time trying to figure all out for would tax my brain too much and then watching Lost would become work and I watch for the fun of it. Maybe the strange guy was trying to have the other guy harm himself-like kill himself in order to wake up in the real world away from the fake world BUT the problem with that theory is if you DIE you're Dead and you won't wake up at all.If you think you're in a fake world and you kill yourself you' better make sure that you're in a dream.I myself would wait and see what'll happen would never take that kind of chance esp when some "strange" guy is telling it.

It's a TV show so it's all fake...

I don't think that it's all fake on the show, Hurley was kinda crazy and it was his hallucination that told him that it was all fake. Plus it would kind of suck if the whole show was a dream, it would make a lot of people angry cause they've (me!) have watched the show from the beginning and are very into it.

Actually, the whole point of that episode was to acknowledge the possibility, and also to mess with the bloggers who have those uber-intricate theories. But no, if you listen to the interviews with J.J. Abrams or the other writers, it's not a dream, no one's insane, they aren't in hell or whatever, there's a "logical explaination" for everything.

No it isnt. I wondered that for a while too, but then Libby came up to Hurley and said that everything was real: he was real, she was real (then she kisses him, and then that was real.

???? seriously?????

It's a mystery series. cliffhangers bring you back every week. the "this is all a lie" routine is huge (alias, VR (remember that one???), the island, etc.)
