i just want to if a beep from the internal speaker means that the motherboard is functioning and other components are damaged and not the motherboard?

usually a computer will give a short single beep after post that means that everything was good. you would have to do some research on you motherboard to see if a beep is a good thing or a bad thing.

Probably everything is ok ,but some components may not work. Also the circuitry may work but it is cracked and shorts out when the metal gets hot ,stopping the functioning of the component.

prolly not but then again maybe usually indicating that the motherboard is ok but the other components inside ur computer chassis is damaged and need to be replaced.
