Anything that happens only once every four years is worth getting excited about, especially when the best football players from ALL OVER THE WORLD are there to put up a hell of a show! Besides I got tired of watching the "world" baseball series, "world" NBA championships, "world" (american) football champions. How could they say they're world champions when they only play US teams?!? It's things like these that cause other countries to hate us so much.

In soccer, we all speak the same language. No matter where we came from or what language we speak, as long as we are the fans of soccer, we are one!! Friends became foes, while foes became friends! That's what makes soccer sooo exciting!! When your fav team scored a goal, you and your friends wil shout together, "GOOAALLL!!!". The fans would cheer together and toss their hands celebrating the goal!
World Cup is a world event and that includes all different kinds of people from all over the world! The enthusiasm and disappointment when the ball was near the penalty box is the best part in the game!!!

Its the most exciting sport in the world.. And not to mention the players are not bad to look at.. lol. But seriously, Its nice to follow up such a game, a sport that tends to bring the entire world together, even if its only for a month! But then the Champions League will start again in September and it will be football mania all over again!

The World Cup has been compared to politics. It has the ablity to divide people and unite them all at the same time. The WC brings together warn torn nations behind 1 team and even momentarily bringing peace to people. The WC doesn't descriminate and is enjoyed by people of all ages. It is not full of loud drunk guys like American Football games and is not dull from "timeouts" or "commercial breaks". And no matter where one is from it's easy to enjoy watching any nation play this beautiful sport!

The world cup brings together the very best soccer teams in the world, for a competion that is non stop action. Unlike Baseball, basketball and American Football, there are no timeouts, stops and starts, or commercials. Its ALL action.

Watching the goals, great players from all around the world, and just the excitment of soccer. If you haven't given soccer(football) a chance you really should.

On my case, it's because I am Brazilian. Even if a person doesn't like soccer in Brazil, sooner or later she will, because is brain washed on TV and radios everyday there. We have soccer on breakfast, on lunch and on dinner, if snacks counts too, we have soccer for snacks too...like baseball here in USA.
