my user account on my windows xp is set as a limited account. i cant get on to the administrator's account because it is blocked with a password that i dont know. is there any way that i can download programs and files without being on the administrator. if not, is there any way to hack on to the administrators account or to find out their password?

I dont think thats possible. Any type of hacking into your own computer will screw up the configurations so I would not recommend it. You might want to just ask the admin to give you downloading and installing rights.

Did you go to "User Accounts" in the control panel and change the settings there? You should be able to change the password or delete it altogether from there.

there was one program you can hack to it from UNIX.. Unfortunately, I lost the disk.. but that wont work xp anyway, it works for win2000.
