The unknown, I believe from outerspace. Too many signals and feelings from earthlings over the last 10 decades makes me feel this way. I don't know if it would be our finally deciding to actually go there on a full scale, instead of the mickey mouse space station that Russia has, or if it will be an entity from elsewhere discovering us, or invading us, if they haven't already, but I feel the new challenge for humans on earth is out of our galaxy, possibly out of our universe. We still think there is and end somewhere, which is impossible.

The clash between free liberal democratic cultures on one side and fascist autocratic closed societies on the other is the greatest challenge facing humanity today.

The fascist challenge is based on use of indiscriminate force against unarmed civilians as a means to terrorise them into defeating the resolve of their leadership and thus tilt the balance of power in this war in their favour.

In my Opinion Terrorism is one of the greatest challenge which most of the countries in the world are facing.
The other challenge which our INDIA is facing is the uncontrolled increase in population.

I dont know about humanity but I know for sure that greatest challenge India is facing is poverty and growing population.

Reversing the overarching selfishness prevalent in the world today that is cause for so many challenges: hunger, war, disobedience and insubordination, obesity, loss of learning, irreverence, hate crimes, stupidity, fraud, political dishonesty. A refocusing on other would slowly turn the tide.

poverty, illitrecy, over population, inhuman activities by humans towards poor people, animals n to the nature, and religious clashes.

the most thing i think is self respect and the lack of humanity and love towards other living beings are the greatesr challenges humanity is facing.
