Just today when I came back from work I noticed that I can't get the key out of the starter. With some pressure and play around I got it out. Then tried to start up again and now the key wouldn't turn. Again, with some struggle it worked... THis problem still persists and I can't use the damn Road Side Assistance since I'm not registered for it. Anyone has any ideas what the problem might be from and how to get it fixed? My car is a '94 C280.

Appreciated.

Have you called the dealer and ask if this is common? I have never had that poroblem...I do know a replacement key is $350.00. They told me that when I bought the car, it sure makes me aware of not losing it.
Do you have Automobile club? They might be able to help.

for the key sticking, try lubricating the lock cylinder with a spray lubricant.
