Finally after two weeks listining to your bullshit opinions about football and i mean football not soccer your packing off home after fimishing bottom of your group, i though i hated the english fans until now but my god was i wrong , America ive never been happier to see a team humiliated in the world cup .

The world needs more positive people around. I think the Americans were humbled but not humiliated. If you look at the game against Italia you cannot but have respected their performance.
It is difficult, I think, for these Americans to do too well in football because their world revolves around their "mighty" nation.
In future they should just act like everyone else: Go with a positive, not a proud attitude. They should not call the beautiful game soccer cause we all like our Football!

at least one country the USA got kicked out of , if war was like footie then the United States of terror would have been out of Iraq a long time ago. Stupid stupid race too stupid to play football let alone understand it...maybe now america gets that nobody likes them and that everybody is happy to see them get the hell out of the tournament. I know it is time to make friends but america was not meant with that so piss off back to your uneducated country and leave the world alone , nobody likes you anyway USA.
hopefuly you lot get beat everywhere else too so that eventually yoiu will be no treat to nobody but common sense... get some brains usa and try again in 2oo years. the next best thing now would be that some one sends bush and his army of pony molesters to trial for crimes against humanity or that the USa just sank into the ocean

I'm not sure if everybody; but I've heard many americans laugh and be happy since that means that we wont be tortured with more soccer news... We're glad to see many people from the rest of the world so happy about US losing; hey! they need something to be proud of...especially countries like Ghana and such... The only part I dont understand from these celebrations is why do they think we're upset about it? we're not, we dont even care for this game...it's long and boring; we did our part by showing up, but we're glad to be out of there...now the folks can keep on enjoying their monkey sounds when black players come in, and their hooligans folks, etc. Defenetely not fo US!

Now don't criticise the American soccer (or football or whatever) team because the general population of America dislike soccer.
The American soccer players are obviously into soccer like us (they're pro players, remember?)

Hey:info for "The Dub";At least the USA made it to Germany so why the f**k would we be laughing.For a country that knows sod all about the World Cup at least they got there which is more than I can say for the Rep. of Ireland (where I am from) who by the looks of things will qualify for sod all in the far future.Thanks for listening.

I dont think the Americans will really care, I was recently on holiday in the states and tried to buy a world cup replica shirt and i just couldnt find one in Vegas, los Angeles or New York!!

To be fair they were playing on the road. They have a much better soccerball record when playing in their own stadium the Bruce Arena. Before the next World Series they need to work on their D and their offense... lol

you people are just so clueless. you just don't get it do you? honestly, do you think we give a s**t that our SOCCER team lost? in case you havn't noticed, we don't CARE about soccer. so go ahead and laugh, but the average american is not the least bit upset that our soccer team is out of the world cup, we just don't CARE. we're just counting down the days to september 7th when the NFL FOOTBALL season starts.
