I think it would be ok, as long as the person you are with is cool with it. Sometimes talking helps bring the movie to life

That depends, if your in a public place viewing the movie with a lot of other people ... no, keep your mouth shut or risk being pummeled like the idiotic chatterbox that you are.
If your at home with friends, by all means, continue blabbing on about this and that ... trust me, odds are your friends and family ignore you anyway.

Yes, it is OK to talk during a silent movie, but there is one catch. You can only talk in sign language!

Well, I'm not exactly sure. There's no law that says you can't, but I guess if you did it wouldn't matter. Just as long as you don't ruin the movie for who ever else is watching it. Pfft, I'd talk during one.
