The worst case scenario is that you're arrested and have to go to jail before posting bond. Later, you're tried for contempt of court, found guilty and pay a hefty fine.

Worst case? The judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest and you will be arrested. My brother missed jury duty once, but he remembered later in the day and went in. He got a mild lecture and was rescheduled for later that year. This was in Mississippi.

Writ of body attachment. Thats where the sheriff goes out and places you into custody until you comply with the court order, which a jury summons is. Most likely that would never happen
