Taranis, Lugh, and Rhiannon. I honor them because they have taken an interest in me and are willing to build a relationship with me.

Well first off, I am not wanting to bring the word 'god' in here because it has too much junk attached to it. Not many really 'know' the Father. But that I will not bring up here. Why do I follow Him? I don't. I only align myself with him. I asure you, its not an easy task in this time of era. But it is quite possible. Quite a joy really. Where your life is nothing but a prayer towards the Father. That is something of a rarity. Cheers!

I'm a hardcore polytheist, so there are many gods in my life. I am willing to get to know any deity, but I worship the Celtic gods exclusively. I have a particular fondness for Manannan, who is a god of the sea and also ruler of an underworld. (The Celtic myths have an abundance of spirit realms) His duties coincide with my interests, and He is also very kind, in my experience.
In one of the Nordic Eddas, (which i found out about in this case from a book by H.R. Ellis Davidson) a patron god is called "the friend whom you trust". This is a very good way to think of it. Whichever powers one is drawn to, they should be able to be trusted, and you should feel that you are friends and that you can confide in them.

All Gods are one, and all Goddesses are one, and the God and Goddess together are one. That One is ultimately unknowable by the human mind on the earthly plane. The many Gods and Goddesses are ways to connect to that one.
My personal patrons are Cerridwen and Cernunnos. Cerridwen is the keeper of the cauldron of life, death, and rebirth. Cernunnos is lord of the forests and animals. However, depending on what I am praying or working magick for, I may call on another.

The only place you can find the Great Spirit is within, not without. The Great Spirit is the energy that everything is made of. We are all one. Human, animal, tree, rock, flower and bee. You can not harm anything without inturn harming all. Love your Mother Earth!
Only 1 rule; And it harms none, do as you will!

God in my life is me because I know I won't lead myself astray and I know that I'm the only person I can really count on and trust.

God is my savior. He keeps me on a straight path, he leads me by still waters, he anoints my soul, he is there in times when I need him the most. He is my path, my righteousness. I follow him because I believe him as he believes in me. I am his child.
