I had a friend who didn't show until 7 months. We were all surprised and I think she didn't want to know she was pregnant.

I was 12 weeks! I had just moved to a new area and thought my cycle was just messed up from the stress of the move. Not uncommon for me. Around 6 weeks I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I really had no other symptoms, morning sickness, etc. I didn't really worry but made a Dr's appt, I had to get back on the pill anyway. I was surprised when the Doc came in the room and said you are pregnant. We did a sonogram and there she was just a wigglin' in my belly. She's happy, she's healthy and just turned 9 months yesterday. My Doc also said it's more common than you think. People from all sorts of backgrounds and levels of education, etc. I felt really stupid and a little embarrassed for not knowing until 12 weeks. Now, I don't care I'm just greatful that she is here, happy and healthy.
Good luck to your sister. It's an adjustment but the best thing ever!!!!!

I WAS SHOCKED!! We had been using the "pull out" Method for several months before and i had never gotten pregnant... i knew this wasnt a good method to protect against pregnancy but i figured being pregnant wouldnt happen to me....i took a test the morning of my missed period kind of jokingly and not expecting it to come up positive...but within 2 seconds it came up positive... i was so suprised!! I am 3 months along now

I found out I was pg at the 12 week milestone. I had gone thru several years of IVF only to be told that it would never happen and to expect peri-menopause (at 35). While we were in the process of adopting our daughter my period went to spotting and then stopped. I didn't worry about it because I just thought, 'okay my clocked stopped ticking'. But then I felt bloated and I thought cancer. So I went to my gyn and they thought it wise to start with a pg test first to rule it out. Ta-da! I was surprisingly and blissfully pregnant with our now two year old son. We finished the adoption process for our daughter shortly after our son was born (she was an older child and is now 12).

4 months is pushing it but i have experinced a medical case where a women came to the hospital with chest and abdominal pains and while examing her we found her she was pregnant and in labor and the best thing is that she did not know she was pregnant until we told her about it.she looked liked she was working on all thrusters tough if you know what i mean because we thought she was slow or something.Just turns out she was from a small town. Her tummy was not that out too to say from first sight she looked pregnant.she was several pounds underweight but delivered a healthy baby though and still the best part was until we did not put the baby in her hands she refused to acknowledge she was pregnant.

My aunt told me when she was pregnant with my cousin, she didn't know until she's 3.5 months. So, it could happen. But I found out mine when I am only 3 weeks. Yes, the HPT had double line.

My sister didn't know until she was three months, she had periods and no symptoms that whole time.
Congrats to your sis!
