I listen to mainly alternative music like Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, The Academy Is... and etc. But what other GREAT alternative-type bands are there? Keep in mind I only really like alternative, I dislike rap, country, metal - all of that stuff. So what else is there???

this is to the guy who said i like 'emo'. I don't. The bands I listed are alternative/rock. Do a genre search and they will more than likely be the first ones to come up.

You, my friend, like Emo. That is not alternative. Alternative is stuff like System of a Down, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Papa Roach, Rammstein, and the like. Redefine your genres, ma'am.
