wether or not he is joking, he may never realy tell you the truth, but you do need to talk to him alone and tell him that you dont like it when he says that, that it makes you feel like he is telling you that your relationship is over and that he wants you to leave, tell him to tell you if it is true or not, if he says its not true then tell him it is time for him to stop saying it or it could ruin the way that you feel for him, or whatever it does to you right now just tell him. good luck and take it easy.

My mother and I would tease my Dad about if he saw his girlfriend at the Grocery Store. My Father would stop by EVERY DAY to get their daily grocery needs rather than going once a week...they liked it that way and nothing every went "bad" in their fridge because it wasn't used. And I can promise you, my father never cheated.

If my husband doesn't answer his cell phone, the next time I talk to him I'll jokingly tell him to have his girlfriend call at a different time. And I have 100% confidence that my husband doesn't cheat. Or he'll call on his way home from work and tell him to kick the boyfriend out because he's on the way. And I'll tell him that I'll get right on that.

I think, in all situations, we were able to use the "girlfriend/boyfriend" joke because we knew that it just wasn't a possibility.

If it bothers you, tell him. If your feelings mean anything to him, he'll stop. Or join in and tell him that you know what he means...that your boyfriend can't come over either.

Throw yourself down the stairs and get a restraining order on him and BE DONE WITH IT! OMG, does someone have to draw you a picture? He's a poor excuse of a "husband". And if you stay with him you obviously deserve eachother.

that is his way of release from the fact that it is probably true. it is like when someone think you are cheating it is because they are guilty of the same. tell him OK just to let you know and you will go to a friend from your works house. His guilty will fuel his suspicion. He will then slip up on covering his track and you can catch him. valentines day is busiest day for P.I's it's called baiting and it works. i know from experience

If you are having doubts that it is a joke there must be something more to it.
