As an Italo-Australian, I can finally say "only if they beat Australia"
Seriously, they have:
1) Started well (excluding the game against the USA)
2) Do not have many yellow cards worries (excluding Totti)
3) the team is cohesive and know each other's style well (all play in the Serie A)
The problem will be "Korea Syndrome" - if they underestimate Australia (as they did Korea in '66) then they will lose.

Absolutely NOT!!!! There is too much stiff competion from the likes of Brazil, Argentina, Germany and England for a mediocre team like Italy to win.

Germany will conquer all. Italians can never finish what they start just look how they did in WWII. Left the poor Germans to fend against THE WHOLE WORLD! So no, even though the Italians look strong, they'll never take the cup.

Nope. They don't deserve to win. They are the biggest bunch of whiners in international sport with the retired Maldini being the King of Whiners.

I highly doubt it. The Italian team isn't as good as the team way back in the days. It'll either be Brazil or Germany.

I think they can. They have the strongest defence, the best keeper, a creative midfield, and very good finishers. It's Brazil, Argentina, or Italy.
