get yourself busy and try not to think about him that much...... in time you will learn to accept things as they are and you will not be feeling hurt as much as you are feeling now. definitely he is not for you. and since you were the one to leave him, it is easier to learn how to forget him.... life goes on. do something worthy, go out with your friends, meet new people, and start living life again.

well have some confidence and try for a minute to think what happened besides the fact that he turned out to be everything you hated in your father.try not to compare him to your father.you probably are noticing what you had before you lost it.if you thought he was the right one then you should have talk to him and see if you could have made a change.real soon im sure that you will get over him but it will take some time.try to relax and not think about him.i bet you might feel a little better.just give it time.sounds bad, sorry, i suppose you feel dissapointed it didnt work and that you might not seen it coming or could help or change it before it started, maybe just plan a weekend away of fun with you and your friends i think its just trying to keep your mind occupied. It sucks doesn't it? Time is about all that is on your side I am afraid. Of course you need to stay busy doing things that you like doing even though you probably don't wanna do anything right now. But once you start to do stuff again it helps a little. Probably changing your routine of daily living is a good start to get your mind off of it. Mingleing with people helps some too. I am still going through this crap myself and it has gotten easier as time goes by. It just takes alot of time and alot more time. Wish I had the magic answer for you, and for me. Its been 6 months now for me, and it is alot better, easier than the first week. I am still blue, and sad at times but not near as bad. You will feel better too in time. Maybe if you try what I suggested you will get some relief. I hope so. I wouldnt wish this on anyone.
first you have to except it as a lost then you should have like some family support you know just some body to let you know itll b alright then you should go out to an outing maybe a club or something just to have fun dont rush things after a while meet someone new bcause a new love always seems to be a little better than an old one

I totally feel your pain... been there. The only way to get over him is time. Do things you used to enjoy even if it hurts. Time heals everything. almost.

I hate to tell you this, but there aren't any tricks to this sort of thing! The only thing that can help you is time.
