Depending on how large a list you are looking for, you can go to your local Chamber of Commerce and rent the list and labels. Or if you are looking for a nationwide list, you can go the DMA's website (Direct Marketing Assn) and find reputable national list vendors and mail houses.

Depends on who you want to mail to.
If it's a specific niche, go to a big city library and ask for the Standard Rate and Data Service Direct Mail List guide. Commonly called "SRDS"
If it's "everybody" there are tons of places to buy or get lists.
