not me. a friend of mine and her sisters boyfriend got into it cuz she wouldn't move her car and he got in her face and slapped her. her sister called 911 and she isn't a cop caller so she hung the phone up on her sister and the police came and arrested her.

They usually call you back and ask you what's wrong and will assume that something very bad is happening if the phone hung up
They usually understand if you called on accident
You did call on accident right?

The operator will call you back to make sure there's nothing wrong with you or anyone. If there's NO emergency and you only made the call as a prank., they will note your telephone number for a year as a possible prank caller. If you keep that behavior they will notify the phone company about it, and you might get your service suspended. The county will send you a letter for the prank calls and you might be fined.

You're guaranteed a callback from the 911 dispatcher. If he/she thinks that something's fishy about why you called 911 and then hung up, you can expect a couple uniforms knocking on your door for a welfare check.
If you call 911 and hang up as part of a prank, you can expect a citation for your trouble.

You aren't ver clear on who called, and who hung up the phone. If the person who dialed is NOT the person who stopped the call, the person who stopped the 911 call is guilty of a felony.

I think it is a felony to call 911 and hang up.. unless it is a real emergancy and you cant be on the phone.. they can track the number and find you...

not a lot...it depends if you do it often....They can trace your call.They do that due to domestic disturbances and such.if they feel that it is a issue they need to respond to,they will pay a visit to your residence.
