Driving down a quiet road you see a man peeing in the woods. You dont see his penis. However, it is obvious he is peeing. Is this wrong? In the middle of a subdivision, a man outside walks over to a private area & pees. Is this wrong? This question came to mind after seeing both of these happen over a small period of time. Thinking of other countries that have built little structures around trees just for this purpose makes one wonder if anything is wrong by it especially if the genitalia are concealed. What do you think?

Driving down a quiet road, you see a woman peeing in the woods, she is not exposed, however you know she is peeing...Is this wrong? In the middle of a subdivision a woman walks over to a private area, and pees, is this wrong? Sorry just had to change it... Is it mortality wrong? No, all species of life do their business when and where they need to...In the puplic eye,in North America it is wrong... indecent exposure....In my opinion you gotta go you gotta go!!!

Neither is wrong. I have peed on the side of the road and in an urban area. If I have to take a leak, I am going to get my relief. I usually stand concealing my genitalia by facing a wall but it's real obvious what I am doing

If there's no real reason to feel offended, don't question someone's bladder condition. Some people need to go. The alternative is not peeing and then offending everyone you walk past until you can shower. Society is too skittish about bodily functions. When in doubt people should MTOB. You never know the whole story.

The only way public urination should be acceptable is upon an emergency need to go by children, or when camping in the woods. I'm from the south and even the hillbillies use an outhouse.

I don't see a problem with it however maybe the man in the subdivision could have found an actual bathroom to use where as the man in the woods couldn't.

Disgusting habit. I see this in many developing countries ( I travel a lot) - and I turn my head away in disgust.
Civilized nations have a law against such things. People who do them here are uncouth and socially, morally bankrupt.
Adults do not have to "gotta go - gotta go" justification. OK, children are an exception even that, parents should teach them decency and bring them up as what is acceptable or what is not.
Surely plenty of facilities are available in earshot distances. There is no real reason for anyone to urinate or defecate in public.
Next thing you know one will condone sexual acts in plain view, scratching the scrotum (men especially), expectoration (spitting) can be accepted? In public washrooms, I see in some cultures it is ok to clear one's throat or gargle, picking nose are tolerated. I certainly do not condone that.
Question: Does this topic belong in DIY category? In a sense it may. One can argue that till cows come home.

You know those Mountain Dew bottles on the side of the road. Well, that ain't Mountain Dew in them.
If U can't make emergency pee stop for fear of offending somebody, then send them the bladder infection bill from the doc!!!
Why can't people mind their own business instead of trying to run each other down??

Yes its wrong...The guys shouldn't have held it for so long....I know when you gotta go, you gotta go! But he is lucky you weren't a cop...As far as other countries that build llittle structures around trees for such a purpose,i imagine their population is such that they had to do something....Our country however will find it an indecent public exposure, or something to that fact.............

If there is nothing visible, just the fact that he (or for daisy, she) looks like she is doing something does not mean that they are doing it. This being the case, and nothing is being damaged, there should be no problem!

I look at it like public breast-feeding. Sometimes ya gotta do it--but nobody has to see the details! I wouldn't object unless it was done because they are exhibitionists.
