OK... here's what you do. (Pay close attention now; no detail is insignificant.)
Remove one of your toenails with a pair of needle nose pliers.
Next, place the toenail in a jar of peach jelly and wait 37 days.
Remove the toenail from its hermetically sealed container; go to any horse track and bet on a 30-1 long shot (if no horse is listed at 30-1, come back the next day).
Having placed your bet, run as quickly as you possibly can toward Mecca (all the while praying to Allah that you will be a major league sports team's general manager).
When night falls, remove your shoes and continue running for exactly 2 hours and 13 minutes.
In the middle of a very large forest you will meet Donald Trump who will invite you to a party of his in New York.
When at the party, socialize amicably (but do not seem pressed because major league sports teams never hire nervous individuals for generally managerial positions).
George Steinbrenner will calmly walk over to you and begin to speak about the ancient Greek philosopher, Socrates. Now is your moment... place your carefully concealed toenail in his beverage and await the moment when he will toast the "Method of Questioning."
After having swallowed your toenail, George will immediately die of a "supposedly unrelated" brain aneurism. Seize the opportunity afforded to you by then embracing his bloodless corpse and feigning sympathy for his death.
You will soon be appointed the new General Manager of the New York Yankees (only to lose three straight championship games to the Chicago Cubs).

You should make a video demonstrating that you know absolutely nothing about running a football team, and that you will probably damage the organization for years to come. The you should send the tape to the Detroit Lions, and wait for a job offer to let you co-manage with Matt Millen. Just in case you have any trace of competency, they'll want Millen to work with you for awhile to make sure you won't do anything right.
And if you ever get tired of football, you can go work for my beloved Chicago Cubs, where you too can continue to destroy the arm of every ultra-talented young pitcher that they have, just like your mentor Dusty Baker will teach you. "Oh, you're just back from shoulder surgery? Well how about you throw a complete game today, huh? Sound good? Maybe an extra-innings complete game next week?"

The answer is simple. First you need to go to military school for 5 years then drop out. Next you go to the candy store and buy a big jar of candy canes. Eat them all on a monday night football game. Next you go to China for a few days because they are the smart people. After that you go to whatever team you want and ask if you can get the job if they say yes your in if they say no tough. If you want to try again go to Japan this time and become a sushi butcher but you have to go to training for 12 years. then go back to the team you want to be the manager for and they should yes after you tell them you can make sushi. If No forget it or get another tip.

Go to an Ivy league school, major in business, and make cement close relationships with those who are interested in the same dream. Once you graduate, take a job in sports industry. Could be with a minor league team, could be in pubic relations for a minor league team, so on. Keep in close contacts with your ivy league school friends. If one of you makes it, help out your other friends.

That's a good question. I don't see any reason why a woman can't be a GM. if she has the same qualifications and standings and baseball knowledge as a man then she should have every right to that job as anyone else.
