Where can you sell scripts, or get help with writing your scripts?
Where can I find out what companies are interested in buying scripts and which companies are looking for writers? What are some good casting websites, that don't charge a buttload?

I just took some screenwriting classes not too long ago and I learn some stuff about getting attention when it comes to script. Basically, it all comes down to luck and the theory of Hollywood is getting to know somebody from the industry. If you don't know anybody, don't worry about it. If you have a script already written, there are several ways to get your script out there. One is to submit your script to the WGA (Writers Guild of America, the official union for Hollywood screenwriter) to get it "copyrighted" (I'm not sure if it is, but it's close to it) so it becomes your property for a charge. You can visit their website at www.wga.org for more information. Try to apply for a membership if you can and see if you can get an agent or not. Another way is to find a studio execitive or a person working in an industry at some restaurant or at a party and try to sell your script, which usually anybody would do.

If you want to get help with writing scripts, you can go to your local library and check out some books about screenwriting. My recommendation would be books written by Syd Fields or David Howard. There are lots of studio that are looking for new material, but you have to search for it on the internet (may I suggest Yahoo). Look for ads on the internet to see if they have a spot, usually requiring some qualification. I don't know any good casting website around, but continue to search for one on the internet and you eventually find it.
