I think that myspace has some risks, but you just have to be careful. Don't talk with people you don't know. Also be careful about things that are posted on your page. Sometimes people can have enough details on their page to be easily tracked down. Its just like anything else in life....you must use caution. It is very sad to think that myspace could be outlawed because parents don't keep track of what their children are doing on the internet. Hopefully it never comes to that. It has been such a nice thing for me. I have found alot of old friends that I had not spoken to in years. I love myspace.

As long as they stay put and try not sneak off in the night to go meet some guy that they think is really sweet and nice. I think kids need parental supervision on this one. I feel bad for the creators of Myspace because of the creeps out there that are preying on children. Be careful and be safe. Don't do anything stupid becasue it might be the last time you do.

Yes, they have a security feature on there where they can make their profile "private". Only friends that they accept can view their profile. But if you are a parent you do need to monitor the people they associate with. Alot of pedofiles do love myspace as it has been on the news quite a bit. But, myspace is also good to keep in contact with friends and they can have fun creating their webpage.

People under 18 shouldn't be doing it illegally. But of course they do it anyway. The only reason for the age restrictions are so that children won't give away too much information that would put themselves in danger. Older people usually have more sense than kids. It's a safety thing, you know.

More adults will probably be drawn to the newest thing - There's a new MySpace type social program coming that will pay you money when your friends pay for some of the premium features. It’s free to sign up. The sooner you sign up and share it with friends the more money you could make. It will have great features like Video iPod Casting, videos on cell phones, video social networking, video email, video blogging, live video broadcasting, live video chat, live 24/7 video surveillance, pay-per-view videos, watch live and recorded videos on your television with a new "set top box", your own TV channel on the internet, videos on websites, and more! no. Unless you know all those cyberspace safety and be really cautious about it- maybe. I'm less than 18 and I have a myspace but I basicly abandoned it. Xanga.com is better and it is the same as MySpace.

Why yes Brenda! There's nothing to be afraid of. I'll be your friend and maybe we could meet at an alley and eat some cheeseburgers together....but you don't need to call dateline do you? They're just a bunch of cockblockers, ever since they came unto us, it's been hard to score lately...but back to the question, yeah it's totally safe kid. Just don't go around telling when someone older solicits you for sex, you hear?

Nothing is safe on the internet if people aren't careful. Don't assume the person is telling the truth on their profile. NEVER give out personal information to someone you don't really know. If someone is bothering you online you should tell your parents, and you should also report them. On most websites there is a place to report abuse.

it's as safe as YOU want it to be. you decide how much information you provide about yourself. the reason myspace is all over the news and all these older guys getting young girls, that's because those people share too much and decide to "meet" them outside of the internet. just don't be stupid about it and you'll be okay.

Yes, just be safe about who you accept as friends, don't put personal info. on there that you wouldn't want public, be careful what you show in your pictures. Same old rule "don't talk to strangers..."
