If you have Windows XP, try this
Start Menu/All Programs/System Recovery
If you click this, it will completely restore your computer from the beginning. I once got a computer that Spybot or Ad-Aware could not get rid of, and i used System Recovery.
However if you do not have a computer that doesn't require a System Recovery Disk, then i don't recommend it, unless you have that System Recovery Disk. As for me, i have one built in, to which i don't need the CDs.
The virus i got, changed my dial-up connection and even when i changed the number back, when i connected, it still changed it back.
When you do use System Recovery, i recommend saving as many important files as you can that aren't invected, before using SR, and once you do use SR, i recommend going to www.microsoft.com and downloading all the security updates and i also recommend downloading service pack 2, it includes a firewall. I haven't had any viruses to occur since i downloaded it, however it isn't a antivirus program, but it helps.
If you don't have the built-in SR, then check to see if you have a SR disk, put it in, then restart your computer and go from there.
by the way, i used SR to stand for System Recovery.
