Will all this trail mix I'm scarfing do the trick?

you need to start carbo loading at least 4 days before a big run, or even longer. I start a week before a marathon. get lots of rice and pasta, trail mix may have too much fiber to really help.
the day of the run, eat a carbo gel pack before you start, and one per hour during the run.

I'd probably go with as much pasta as you can handle for your next two dinners, along with some nice sugary cereals for breakfast.

definitely eat some pasta the night before, but dont overload yourself on lots of carbs....
