as with any animal he is in a new invironment so he might be a little stressed. he may not feel like eating just yet. give him a few days and don't force him. he will eat when he calms down and gets hungrey. just make sure you give him water and you can start out with just a small amount of food until you see that he is eating well

He will eat eventually, just put whatever you are feeding him into his cage/aquarium and leave him alone. It's his first day in his new home and he might be feeling a little vunerable. Bearded Dragons are very intelligent creatures and he needs some time to get used his new surroundings and to his new owner and anyone living with his new owner.
My brother's Bearded Dragon acted the same way at first. We just walked away after putting the food in the aquarium she is in and let her eat in private.
Other tips:
There is also pellet food you can feed your dragon, but I would wait until he is older. Until he's big enough, feed him the smallest crickets you can buy. My brother fed his once or twice a week in the beginning, but once she was big enough, he put the pellet food in the aquarium and only fed her the large crickets (about 5 or 6 at a time) once a week.
You can also buy calcium powder. What you do is put the crickets you're going to feed your dragon into a plastic bag, pour some of the calcium powder into the bag and shake it to coat the crickets. It will help keep your dragon healthy.
Good luck! They are fun animals!

Patience for a new arrival, let them adjust to surroundings. If you got him at a pet store, they should have told you what he eats and hopefully given you some food. Worms or crickets, or pellets that would be ground up.
When hungry it will eat. You can help it some if you need to by crippling the cricket if it is able to eat one at this point. Disable the legs so it is an easier catch.
Hope it works out okay.

I don't know much about bearded dragons but my friend has one and she say that the cricket has to be smaller than the distance form the dragon's mouth to its eye. I'm not that sure though. and you can use vitamins for the crickets so that the dragon can ingest more vitamins :)

If you just got him today, he made need to acclimate to his new environment, so he may not feel like eating right now. Don't worry, as reptiles don't always have to eat everyday, and as long as he has enough water and his cage or tank are the right temperature, he will probably be OK.

your beardie probably just needs to settle down but heres some tips:
make sure the food is the right size, if I remember right the rule is nothing bigger than the space between their eyes
squirt any veggies with water
after 5-10 mins remove any uneaten food from the tank, don't leave it in there

If you just got him today, he may have already eaten his meal, plus new surroundings will take a day or two for him to adjust, before he gets into an eating routine.

dangle the food, meal worms or wax worms from the pet store or small bits of lettuce. directly in front ofhis noseso he can smell and see them, they prefer live food, though . then put a few in his food dish, and put him into the dish so he can find them, if he still doesn't eat, he is sick. take him back to the pet store.
