Do you know how superconductors work? They take an electrical current running through a large wire, or something like that, and make it extremely cold. This cooling alows electrons to pass more freely through the electrical circuit, causing a higher amperage through the circuit. Computer's processors work in a similar fasion, so cooling your processor would make a performance difference. That's why alot of computer freaks have desktop computers that have exquisite cooling systems; they are trying to maximize performance. Hope this helped!
